Chemspec's StainShield Professional is an excellent water-based fibre protectant that can be applied to almost all water cleanable rugs, carpets and upholsteries. It repels oil and water-based stains. Areas treated with StainShield will resist stains and look newer, fresher and cleaner for longer.
StainShield Professional forms a durable, microscopic barrier around each fibre to lock out dirt, grime, water and oil-based liquids. Spills on your furniture immediately bead-up and can be blotted away quickly without a trace.
Dilution rate can be altered depending on on the pile density, thickness, fibre type, dampness of the item being protected.
Dilute only with sufficient water to cover/penetrate the fibres - thus reducing drying times and giving the operator more control. As a starting guide, dilute 4:1 for carpets and 2:1 for upholstery.
