Dry Carpet Cleaning Compound (10kg)

Solution's Dry Carpet Cleaning Compound combines the cleaning power of MicroSplitter into an organic material. It is one of the most advanced cleaning powders that takes VLW (very low moisture) cleaning to a new level of efficiency. It does not contain detergents or optical brighteners and will not affect treatments such as Solugard or Scotchgard. Take note that sometimes foam develops during cleaning. This is not caused by the powder, but rather detergent or shampoo residues left behind from previous cleans that were not rinsed out properly.

How to use:

1. Thoroughly pre-vacuum carpet.
2. Pre-treat heavily soiled areas lightly with Fusion Clean or M-Power.
3. Turn container of Dry Carpet Powder for a few moments to ensure that it is evenly moistened.
4. Sprinkle the granules onto the carpet at the rate of approximately 50-100 g/m, depending on the degree of soiling. This can either be done by hand or machine.
5. Brush granules into the carpet. A twin contra-rotating brush machine works best, brushing from several different directions to ensure full treatment.
6. Allow the granules to dry (15-30 minutes, depending upon condition). during this phase the granules, acting as natural sponges, will absorb soil-laden moisture, resulting in a change of colour.
7. When completely dry, remove granules using a commercial-grade upright vacuum cleaner.

Dry Carpet Powder removes a broad spectrum of stains and spots, including filtration soiling in peripheral and door areas, grease, beverages, protein, dispersion paints, mustard, oil, ketchup, etc. However, any spots or stains that still remain should be treated with specialist spot & stain removers. Spots which cause a fibre-colour-reaction, for example urine, coffee, etc.may not be totally treatable
