Our WET CLEANING EXTRACTION chemicals are designed to work with a particular technique, using only 3 machines, with small amounts of chemical used and clean water extraction, the risk of damaging carpets and upholstery is reduced ,wear and tear to your machinery is reduced and your cleaning time is reduced also.
The basic method is VAC – SPRAY – AGITATE – EXTRACT.
The stages are as follows;
Inspection of carpets/ rugs / upholstery / curtain fabrics, etc (determine what it is you are cleaning and the chemical to use)
Thorough vacuum with a deep pile lifting vacuum ( get all loose dirt out of the equation, no need to waste chemicals cleaning removable dirt)
Pre-spray entire room(s) with your mixed solution by pressure sprayer. A whole house should be less than a 5 ltr solution.
Agitate the pre-sprayed solution, using a carpet agitation brush , agitator or CRB machine to work into all fibres.
Extract using fresh clean water only with your extractor, no chemicals need go through the machine, keeping it clean too.
ReVacuum / Re-Agitate , just to fluff up the pile, achieve faster drying and leave it looking fuller. A pile tufter will do this quickly.
If you want to leave a nice smell, spray with one of our natural deodourising chemicals. Clean smell = double happy customer.
ENCAPSULATION CLEANING by rotary machine is the same basic method except the agitation and then extraction are both done by the rotary scrubbing and cleaning pads.
We recommend our low moisture encapsulating products , HYDRO 202 or FUSIONCLEAN.
Encapsulation cleaning is an interim carpet maintenance method. In this process, the encapsulating chemical is sprayed onto and then brushed into the carpet using a cylindrical or rotary brush machine or bonnet.
The encapsulation chemistry surrounds each soil particle and crystallizes it so it can’t attract other soils. The encapsulated soil particles release from the carpet fiber and are removed by normal vacuuming.
Since this is a low-moisture system, carpets can be put back into use promptly. This process allows maintenance companies to provide a continual high level of appearance at a lower price than other cleaning methods while generating high levels of productivity. This method is designed for commercial maintenance only. Encapsulation cleaning should be periodically followed (every 2–3 cleanings) by thorough hot water extraction.
For SPOT AND STAIN REMOVAL, we offer a range of chemicals depending on the type of stain.
It can be difficult to determine what it is you are trying to remove so we have developed techniques from where to start with mystery stains so that you don’t exacerbate the problem.
With stain removal you have to remember that your customer may have tried a home remedy or retail product already which may effect your chemicals, we don’t want unknown chemical reactions on carpets and upholstery so we will teach you how to go about using our range of chemicals and methods to get the best results.
Remember Spot And Stain removal is an extra service (sometimes time consuming service) to regular carpet cleaning and should be treated as a separate chargeable service. You could be making the difference between keeping or changing a carpet or suite!
But once you have the knowledge you can proceed with confidence.
VERY LOW MOISTURE (AKA DRY POWDER CLEANING) is another interim form of carpet cleaning which allows the operator to offer a no down time clean to customers that just cannot tolerate drying times. It allows the operative to clean carpets without disruption to businesses as the carpet chemicals are contained within safe to use micro-sponges or granules. The carpet can be walked on during the process whicg is simply scattering of the product, agitation and extraction by vacuuming only.
Whilst not a deep clean, this can be an effective method of cleaning carpets and leaves a pleasant ‘just cleaned’ smell.
Use VLM or SEBO-P powders where no drying time or after hours work is allowed.
Dry cleaning also allows for an untrained carpet operative to clean with only 3 items, the dry powder product, an agitating brush and a vacuum.
